  • The PPC will adopt a consultative stepwise approach with preparing designs, value engineering, safety and constructability at various stages of the feasibility study and detailed engineering design development. The design will have to conform to international best practice and applicable Indonesia’s national standards. The PPC   will involve the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) for ESP wastewater projects, which will be supported by the Project Management Consultant (PMC) and the city government of Semarang during the design process to ensure ownership and corporate memory of the design and the wastewater management facilities. The Feasibility Study will be continued with the preparation of Basic Design (WWTP) and Detailed Engineering Design (Sewerage system) only if the Local Government/City has acquired and provided the suitable land for WWTP and other supporting facilities.
